Axel

Terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Axel Labs Inc., a Canadian company with its registered office in British Columbia (“we”, “us”). They cover Axel, the personal AI agent, and the website and apps on the web and on iPhone that you use it through (together, “Axel”).

By creating an account or using Axel, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information and is part of them. If you do not agree, do not use Axel.

Axel Labs Inc., a Canadian company. Effective September 27, 2026.

The beta

Axel is in beta. We let people in by invitation, a few at a time, and we may limit who can join.

Your account

You must be 18 or older (older, if the law where you live sets a higher age), and able to make a binding agreement.

What Axel does for you

Axel acts for you: you authorize it to take the actions you ask for, within the settings you choose, and what it does within that authority is done on your behalf.

Axel can read and send email, use your calendar and files, browse websites on its own computer, sign in to accounts with logins you give it, fill in forms, change plans and settings, and, when you allow it, pay bills and move money.

Your accounts, logins and other services

When you connect an account or save a login, you let Axel use that account to do what you ask.

Money

Axel pays, schedules, cancels and moves money only as you direct or allow, and only inside your own accounts with your own banks and providers.

Your content and your data

What you give Axel, and what Axel makes for you, stays yours.

Acceptable use

Use Axel only for what is lawful and yours to do. Do not use it, or ask it, to:

We may refuse or stop a task that would break these rules. To keep people safe, look into a problem you report or suspected abuse, or when the law requires it, we may review Axel's record of a task and pause, block or stop it.

AI can be wrong

Axel runs on AI models, and they make mistakes: they can misread a request, get a fact wrong, or act on a wrong assumption.

Fees

Axel is free during the beta.

If we start charging, we will tell you the price and ask you to agree before you are charged anything; if you do not agree, you can stop using Axel. Costs of the things Axel handles for you, such as your bills and your providers' fees, are yours.

Ending

You can stop using Axel at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email hello@axelagent.io; we will confirm and finish deleting within 30 days.

We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if we need to protect you, other people or Axel, if the law requires it, or if we end the beta or the service. We will tell you first when we reasonably can, and give you a chance to download your information unless the reason prevents it. Tasks Axel has in progress stop when your access does.

When your account ends, we delete your information as the Privacy Policy describes. The parts of these terms that by their nature should last, such as ownership, the disclaimers, the limits on liability and how disputes are settled, continue.

Disclaimers, limits on liability, and indemnity

The law where you live may give you rights these terms cannot take away. Nothing here limits those rights, or our liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or for anything else the law does not let us limit.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.

Changes, and the rest

We may update these terms. This page will always show the current version and its date, and we will tell you about a significant change, by email or in Axel, before it applies. If you keep using Axel after a change applies, the new terms apply to you; if you do not agree, stop using Axel and delete your account.
